Architect John Matthew Mastin began his career working at Mastin Associates, where he spent 20 years gaining invaluable experience from his father, Ernest Mastin.

In 1994 John Matthew Mastin joined the architectural firm of Wakefield Beasley & Associates where he became a partner, designing large-scale projects, including The Town Center at Atlantic Station. In 2008 he began his own architecture firm, Mastin Studio for Architecture, Inc., and began working in association with Mercer Dye designing and constructing projects for the general aviation industry.

Mastin holds a B.A. in architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology and a M.A. in architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He also holds an NCARB Certificate, allowing licensing in most states. In addition to his expertise and experience in architecture, Mastin is an accomplished musician and songwriter.
